Job description

Conduct checking and verification for incoming raw materials, packaging materials as well as finished product analysis.

Liaise with purchasing department regarding supplier performance / quality issues

Laboratory management, to maintain good laboratory practice, apparatus calibration, purchase of lab used equipment and continually improve the lab system

Conduct testing and analyze the test result, ensure its reliability and meet the required standard / specifications with result compiling & reporting.

Develop and set up inspection, control parameters, testing techniques and work procedures.

Responsible for products’ quality improvement, monitor, data analysis, review and drive for corrective and preventive action plan.

Maintain and adhere to legal requirements, company standards, policies, regulations and certifications.

Responsible for coordinating internal and supplier audits, and supporting external audits conducted by relevant authorities or certification bodies. Ensure findings are thoroughly documented, promptly addressed, and used to drive continuous improvement.

Conduct investigation and report quality related issues as well as customer complaints.

Interact with other respective departments on quality related issues and recommend corrective / preventive actions accordingly.

Monitor and analyze sanitation and hygiene practices to validate effective cleaning and sanitization process for production.

Conduct training to develop, motivate and guide subordinate / workers to maintain high standards of discipline, hygiene, productivity as well as safety practices.

To perform any other tasks assigned by superior(s) from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Proficiency in Mandarin, Malay and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Material Science, Food Science, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a related industry, including at least 1 year in a quality management capacity.

Solid understanding of ISO 9001 quality management principles and hands‑on experience with quality system operations.

Competent in applying quality tools (7QC Tools or 8D Problem Solving and etc.) and methodologies, including CAPA, FMEA, and statistical techniques for process and quality improvement.
