Job summary

A talent solutions company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across offshore, onshore, and fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with specifications and standards while mentoring QA/QC personnel. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and extensive QA/QC experience, including managerial roles.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of QA/QC experience in offshore, marine, or heavy fabrication projects.
• 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, API, ASME, ABS, DNV, or other relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and reports.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and quality assessments on-site and off-site.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and project teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Manage and mentor QA/QC personnel, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and classification societies on quality matters.
