Job summary

SF Metal Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA Manager in Penang to lead the quality assurance function and drive improvements across IQC and OQA. You will oversee audits and manage the QA team to uphold product quality for metal work and precision machining.

The role focuses on QMS compliance, CAPA processes, and regulatory adherence, with responsibilities as Management Representative and documentation maintenance. Collaboration with internal and external partners is essential for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team, including performance reviews, training, and development.
• Oversee daily QA activities, including internal and external audits.
• Improve and maintain systems for incoming quality control (IQC) and outgoing quality assurance (OQA).
• Resolve customer quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Act as the Management Representative (MR) for QMS-related dealings with internal and external parties.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and update QMS documentation to reflect current standards and practices.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
