Job summary

UST Global (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Python/Automation Developer to support BIOS/UEFI validation through test automation, scripting and debug support. You will develop automation scripts in Python and Shell and automate BIOS/UEFI validation test cases across Windows and Linux.

Responsibilities include supporting test execution for boot, power management, sleep states, peripherals, and regression validation; analyzing logs; improving test coverage and efficiency; and tracking issues in Jira with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
4-7 years of experience in automation, validation, firmware, or technical support.
Strong knowledge of Python/Shell scripting, Windows/Linux, and debugging.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Proficient in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken).
Candidates with full working rights for Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell, or similar tools.
Automate BIOS/UEFI validation test cases across Windows and Linux platforms.
Support test execution for boot, power management, sleep states, peripherals, and regression validation.
Analyze logs and debug failures with firmware, OS, and validation teams.
Improve test coverage, reporting, and automation efficiency.
Track issues in Jira and provide regular status updates.
