Criteria

• Nationality: Preferably Chinese (Male or Female)
• Age: Below 30 (for Purchasing Executive level)
• Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in purchasing operations (preferred)
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in SAP (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge and experience with SIRIM, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), and MCMC applications
  • Excellent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Language: Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken) for communication with China-based suppliers
• Other Requirements:
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Able to join immediately

Job Summary

The Senior Purchasing Executive will manage supplier relationships, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and oversee procurement operations. The role includes handling certifications, ensuring product compliance, and maintaining proper documentation for smooth purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to secure optimal pricing, terms, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure all purchased materials comply with Malaysian standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit applications to:
  • SIRIM for product certifications, testing reports, and labeling approvals.
  • Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) for Certificates of Approval (COA) for electrical products.
  • MCMC for device certifications and approvals.
• Track and renew all relevant licenses and certificates on time.
• Maintain accurate filing and documentation for regulatory submissions and approvals.
• Liaise with testing labs, consultants, and government bodies for certification processes.
• Support internal and external audits related to product compliance and import controls.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Material Master Data.
• Oversee shipment arrangements, ensuring timely delivery from order placement to warehouse receipt.
