Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Johor is seeking a Senior Project & Tender Quantity Surveyor to prepare and evaluate quotations and manage tender processes in M&E construction projects. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office are necessary for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 5 years of M&E Construction Project Tendering/Costing experience.
• Understanding and knowledge in Design & Build Tender is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans and documents for quotations to suppliers.
• Obtain, compile and evaluate quotations from suppliers/vendors.
• Prepare bill of quantities involving take-off, material sourcing, and estimating.

Senior Project & Tender Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare plans and documents for quotations to suppliers that will be used as basis for pricing.
• Obtain, compile and evaluate quotations from the respective suppliers/vendors according to tender requirements.
• Prepare bill of quantities which involves quantity take‑off, material sourcing, measuring and estimating materials and labour costing.
• Carry out the detailed breakdown pricing.
• Understand tenders with respect to scope of work, pricing schedule and non‑material requirements.
• Understanding and knowledge in Design & Build Tender is preferred.
• Other ad‑hoc duties assigned by manager.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma holder in Quantity Surveying/Building services.
• 5 years of M&E Construction Project Tendering/Costing experience.
• Detailed and meticulous.
• Able to work independently.
• Knowledge in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
