A leading construction company in Selangor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project execution from planning to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering and extensive experience in managing construction projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and subcontractors, monitoring site progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Lead and manage overall project execution from planning to completion.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progress.
Prepare and manage project schedules, work programs, and resource allocation.
Monitor site progress to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Manage tendering, cost control, variations (VO), progress claims, and contractual matters.
Review drawings & technical submissions; resolve discrepancies and site technical issues.
Plan and lead authority submissions and ensure regulatory compliance.
Conduct progress meetings, prepare reports, and follow up on action items.
Manage subcontractor performance, negotiate pricing, and ensure work meets project targets.
Identify project risks, provide mitigation strategies, and problem-solve promptly.
Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams to ensure productivity and high performance.
Ensure timely handover, documentation, testing & commissioning (where applicable).
Handle multiple fast-track projects efficiently when required.
RequirementsDiploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Senior PM: Minimum 8–10 years related experience.
PM: Minimum 4–6 years related experience.
Experience in petrol station, civil, M&E, infrastructure, oil & gas, or general building projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction workflow and technical drawings.
Good understanding of cost management, tendering, VO, and contract administration.
Familiar with authority submission procedures and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, or related software is an advantage.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision; proactive and responsible.
Possess own transport and willing to travel.
