Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager (MEP) will lead the full lifecycle of hyperscale data center projects, focusing on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This role requires strong technical and leadership capabilities to manage design coordination, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning. The incumbent will oversee large multidisciplinary teams and collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of MEP scopes for hyperscale data center and large-scale industrial projects.

Develop and implement project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve project milestones.

Oversee procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with technical and safety requirements.

Drive project execution in alignment with contractual, quality, and HSE standards.

Design & Technical Coordination

Review and coordinate MEP system designs, ensuring technical compliance and constructability.

Collaborate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure seamless design integration.

Manage design changes and ensure accurate documentation and implementation throughout the project lifecycle.

Financial & Risk Management

Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and progress claims to ensure financial control.

Prepare variation orders, manage subcontractor contracts, and oversee procurement activities.

Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to company and client HSE requirements across all project phases.

Implement robust quality assurance and control procedures to maintain system reliability and performance.

Ensure all works comply with relevant codes, statutory regulations, and client specifications.

Stakeholder & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop project teams to drive performance excellence and accountability.

Serve as the key liaison between clients, consultants, and internal departments.

Present project status updates, reports, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale M&E projects — preferably data centers, hospitals, or semiconductor facilities.

Proven track record in delivering multi-million-dollar MEP projects from inception to completion.

Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems design, integration, and cross-discipline coordination.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
