Job summary

A reputable construction firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a highly experienced candidate for project management roles in construction. The ideal candidate should have over 7 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field, expertise in project planning, and command of Microsoft Office tools. Responsibilities include overseeing project budgets, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Experience in interior design and Data Center projects is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture or interior design.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Experience with Data Center projects is an advantage.

Job description

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, such as Architecture, Interior Design, or Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably within the architectural or interior design industry.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Competence in MS Project is essential.

Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software is advantageous.

Personal Attributes:

Strong ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Proper planning of projects, scheduling and coordination.

Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.

Resolution of issues including manpower, machineries, materials delivery, logistic etc to ensure smooth project execution.

Supervise the construction projects to ensure the project is accordance with the schedule and within budget.

Responsible for liaison with clients, consultants, architects, sub-contractors, suppliers, and submission of progress report as required.

Checking of construction drawings and liaison with Project Team on site/technical issues and provide solutions.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.

Perform all other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Preferably with experience in Interior fit-out Works.

Experience in Data Center project is an added advantage.
