A leading tech firm in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Project Manager to expand AI digital human projects. The Senior Project Manager plays a key leadership role in expanding Byond Asia’s HoloMe AI Digital Human business across Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asia region.
This position combines strategic sales execution, technical solution understanding, and financial discipline – managing the full business cycle from client engagement to project delivery and KPI tracking.
The role requires strong commercial acumen, the ability to translate technical solutions into business value, and hands‑on experience executing turnkey IT or AI‑based projects involving both hardware and software integration.
Lead business expansion for Byond Asia’s HoloMe solutions across Malaysia and regional markets.
Identify and pursue new opportunities across smart city, retail, hospitality, education, and enterprise sectors.
Build long‑term relationships with corporate clients, developers, government‑linked companies, and system integrators.
Drive high‑value partnerships and distribution channels to scale market presence.
Oversee the end‑to‑end sales process, including prospecting, solution design, proposal writing, negotiation, and closure.
Develop pricing models, cost structures, and project budgets aligned with profitability goals.
Work closely with the technical and product teams to prepare accurate quotations and turnkey solution proposals.
Lead tender submissions and presentations to key clients and stakeholders.
Possess strong understanding of AI, digital signage, and system integration concepts to communicate technical feasibility.
Translate client requirements into detailed solution specifications in collaboration with engineers and developers.
Ensure proposed solutions meet performance, compliance, and scalability requirements.
Define sales and project KPIs – including revenue, margin, and conversion benchmarks.
Develop financial forecasts, cost breakdowns, and ROI models for each project.
Track project performance to ensure profitability and delivery excellence.
Provide structured reporting to management on deal flow, progress, and financial performance.
Act as the key account manager for major projects, ensuring exceptional post‑sales service and satisfaction.
Coordinate closely with project teams to ensure seamless handover and delivery.
Represent Byond Asia at regional expos, product showcases, and client events.
Gather market feedback and client insights to inform future product development.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in business development or sales of AI, digital transformation, or IT turnkey solutions.
Proven record in managing complex solution‑based sales with regional exposure.
Strong understanding of hardware–software integration, AI/IoT ecosystems, and cloud infrastructure.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and client management skills.
Willingness to travel regionally and engage directly with partners and clients.
Proficient in English; Mandarin or Malay is an advantage.
Achievement of quarterly and annual sales and margin targets.
Successful execution of at least 3–5 turnkey projects per year.
Positive client satisfaction and repeat business ratio above 90%.
Strong collaboration and alignment with technical and project delivery teams.
Expansion of strategic accounts and regional opportunities pipeline.
