Job summary

Homlux Interior Furnishing in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, invites a hands-on Project Executive (Commercial Interior Design - Build) to join our team. You will lead site execution, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works meet drawings, specs and quality standards.

With a Diploma/Degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of interior design and build experience, you will translate plans into action, manage progress reporting, and uphold safety and client satisfaction on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in interior design and build, fit-out, renovation or construction works.
• Proficient in site operations, drawings, safety and contract requirements; able to prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead site execution to meet schedule, budget, quality, safety and contract requirements.
• Direct on-site personnel, subcontractors and workers to complete works per drawings and specs.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and contract requirements into clear site instructions; resolve client enquiries and progress issues.
• Chair client, consultant and site meetings and document decisions, responsibilities, deadlines and follow-up actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports; arrange site inspections and verify completed works against requirements.
• Control material usage, machinery deployment and site wastage; coordinate with Procurement for timely delivery.
• Enforce site safety and review completed projects to propose improvements.
