Job summary

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical works, preferably within a Main Contractor role, and proficiency in English and Malay is preferred.

Job description

Collaborate with the engineering team and consultants on technical designs and processes to meet project requirements.

Oversee project progress, ensuring quality assurance and providing regular updates to the Project Manager for efficient resource allocation.

Guide and supervise site staff in executing mechanical and electrical work according to specifications.

Assist in monitoring subcontractors carrying out M&E works to maintain high standards.

Ensure all work adheres to established method statements, procedures, specifications, and contract requirements.

Analyze M&E drawings for discrepancies with architectural and structural drawings, and manage M&E drawings on-site.

Job Requirements

Must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

A minimum of 5 years of working experience in M&E works within a Main Contractor role, particularly in handling commercial projects.

Proficiency in English and Malay, which may be beneficial for communication with various stakeholders in the project.

Demonstrated mature personality, initiative, self-motivated, good time management skills, problem solving, planning and etc.
