Job summary

A leading construction company is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to assist in supervising infrastructure works. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, proficiency in Primavera software, and be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. This role is based in Betong, Sarawak.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in related field.
• Conversant in Primavera software is an added advantage.
• Exposure in managing contractors is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in supervision and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with QAQC requirements.
• Attend site meetings to report progress to Project Manager.

To assist Project Manager in the overall supervision and quality control of infrastructure works.

To check through drawings and proposals and make sure all drawings are well coordinated

To assist in preparing works program, progress reports and progress claims.

To assist in ensuring the works compliance with QAQC requirement.

Responsible for general on-site technical and engineering matters and quality checks.

To attend site meeting with consultants, sub-contractors, and site co-workers to ensure work completion within target and report to Project Manager.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in related field.

Conversant in Primavera software is an added advantages

Good command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Exposure in managing / handling / dealing with contractors is an added advantage.

Team player, high level work commitment and able to work independently.

Willing to work in Betong, Sarawak.
