Job summary

A leading electrical appliances manufacturer is seeking a Senior Production Engineering Manager stationed in Batam, Indonesia. This role involves assisting in leading the production engineering team, driving improvements in product quality, and managing operational costs. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience, preferably with knowledge of ISO9001 and lean manufacturing, alongside strong analytical skills. Good command of English is required, and knowledge of Chinese is an advantage.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years’ experience at managerial level in manufacturing industry.
• Solid experience in PIE and good at manufacturing techniques of electrical household appliances.
• Experience in ISO9001, lean manufacturing, and 6-Sigma is preferable.
• Good command of English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Factory Manager in leading and managing the production engineering team.
• Drive continuous improvement on product quality and process effectiveness.

Senior Production Engineering Manager (Batam, Indonesia Stationed)

Responsible for assisting the Factory Manager in leading & managing the production engineering team, driving continuous improvement on product quality, process effectiveness & efficiency, operation cost reduction as well as EHS functionality of the manufacturing plant.

Bachelor Degree in Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.

At least 10 years’ experience at managerial level in manufacturing industry.

Solid experience in PIE and Good at manufacturing technique of electrical household appliances especially strong in assembly line and warehouse operation.

With experience in ISO9001, lean manufacturing and 6‑Sigma is preferable.

Self‑motivated, independent, strong conceptual & analytical skill and able to work under pressure.

Good command of English, while can speak & read Chinese is an advantage.
