This role is fully on‑site at our Malaysia office in Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur. Mandarin proficiency is required to communicate with our China‑based design team.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands‑on Product Manager who can truly build apps from scratch (0→1). This role requires a strong product leader who can own the product end‑to‑end, from idea and structure design, to execution, launch, and iteration, in an early‑stage, build‑from‑zero environment.

Our products are financial / banking / internet finance applications, including but not limited to:

• Digital platforms
• Lending or credit‑related products
• Payments, cards, wallets
• App‑based fund flow experiences

You do NOT need to be a finance expert.

You MUST be someone who can actually build apps end‑to‑end.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the Product From 0-1
   • Fully responsible for the app product from concept and design through execution, launch, and post‑launch iteration.
   • Define product scope, structure, and core workflows from scratch.
   • Translate business goals into clear product solutions.
   • Design user journeys, system logic, and key product rules.
2. End‑to‑End Product Development
   • Lead the full product lifecycle: discovery → PRD → build → launch → iteration.
   • Collaborate with engineering teams in China to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment on technical solutions.
   • Coordinate UX/UI reviews with Melbourne‑based designers and ensure smooth design‑to‑development handover.
3. Go‑To‑Market, QA & Post‑Launch Excellence
   >Drive go‑to‑market planning, launch readiness, and cross‑functional alignment.
4. Oversee QA processes, UAT cycles, defect resolution, and release management.
5. Conduct post‑launch evaluations, monitor performance metrics, and implement continuous product improvements.
6. Data‑Driven Product Decisions
   • Review product analytics, user behavior, funnel metrics, and performance KPIs to guide roadmap prioritization.
   • Lead A/B tests and optimisation initiatives to enhance product adoption, retention, and efficiency.
7. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
   • Work closely with engineering, compliance, risk, operations, and design teams.
   • Align product decisions with regulatory and operational constraints.

Who We Are Looking For

• Has built at least one real app from start to finish.
• Can clearly explain how an app works end‑to‑end.
• Comfortable working in early‑stage environments.
• Understands that financial products are about rules, risk, and edge cases; experience preferred.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of hands‑on Product Management experience.
• Proven experience owning at least one full app lifecycle (0→1).
• Professional fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Strong experience working with engineering teams to ship products.
