Requirement
- Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
- Min 3 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet search).
- Strong sourcing, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work at fast speed and meet all deadlines.
Job Summary
The Senior Procurement Executive is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The Senior Procurement Executive works closely with internal stakeholders to support operational needs and drive cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities for assigned categories (vendor evaluations, PO issuance).
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors, industry trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
Negotiation & Contract Management
- Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, and service levels with suppliers.
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Manage contract renewals, extensions, and amendments.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure optimal service and performance.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Resolve supplier disputes and ensure continuity of supply.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Collaborate with planning, operations, finance, and other departments to forecast procurement needs.
- Optimize purchasing cycles and inventory levels to reduce cost and minimize excess stock.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and track procurement efficiency metrics.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.
- Prepare periodic reports on spending, savings, supplier performance, and procurement risks.
