KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improve process yields and drive quality improvements.
- Develop new or modified process formulations and define processing or handling equipment requirements.
- Review processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products.
- Plan and execute projects involving new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in processing or development of new or improved processes.
- Sustain process PFMEA and control plans.
- Conduct root cause analysis and 8D closure with the process engineering team.
- Create and maintain detailed technical process documentation.
- Implement advances in metrology and inspection techniques.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and vendors.
- Manage equipment and process optimization qualifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Material Science, Chemistry, Electronic, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering).
- Over 5 years of experience in relevant manufacturing processes (molding, soldering, sintering, wire bonding).
- Understanding of process fundamentals and familiarity with material behavior during processing.
- Proficiency in statistical process control, quality systems, and tools (IATF16949, LSS, FMEA, Control Plan, etc.).
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and thermal analysis tools (DSC, TGA) is preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
WORKING HOURS
- Normal Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm (observe local working hours).
- Shift Structure: Periodically rotating shift structure.
- Night Shift: 6.00pm – 6.00am.
OVERTIME RATE
- Overtime hours are any number of hours more than the normal hours of work completed per day.
- For overtime on Ordinary Working Day and/or Off Day: rate of 1.5 times the hourly rate of pay.
- For overtime on Rest Day and Public Holiday: rate of 2 times the hourly rate of pay.
- 13 working days on a prorated basis for less than 2 years of service. Max 22 working days for year of service 15+.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Worker will be paid not less than the minimum wage according to the local applicable law.
