Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop sustainable technologies for specialty oil production using renewable and recycled feedstocks.
- Lead strategies to scale technologies from lab/R&D phases to commercial-scale operations.
- Conduct economic feasibility assessments, CAPEX/OPEX analysis, and risk evaluations.
- Drive product and process development with internal teams, research institutes, and industrial partners.
- Support global business units and Business Development in evaluating technical partnership opportunities.
- Develop project structures, scopes of work, and execution strategies.
- Prepare design basis documents and ITB packages for Basic and Detailed Engineering.
- Serve as Technology Manager or Project Manager depending on project scale.
- Oversee project phases from Study, Basic Engineering, commissioning, through performance runs.
- Provide technical leadership that directly supports the organizationul green transformation roadmap.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Significant experience in refining, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
- Strong background in process scale-up or technology commercialization.
- Proven experience in project or engineering management; CAPEX exposure preferred.
- Strong understanding of technical contract legalities and financial modelling.
- Fluent English communication skills for both technical and executive-level discussions.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams and research partners.
- Capability to manage complex, multi-phase engineering projects with high autonomy.
