Job summary

A manufacturing firm in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, seeks a process engineer to design and improve production processes. Responsibilities include analyzing data to resolve defects, collaborating on process alignment with project goals, and implementing quality controls. Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, have 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing, and strong data analysis skills. To Design and develop new process or improve existing ones to meet production goals and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that processdesigns align with overall projects objectives.

Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and increase productivity.To analyze data, conduct experiments and use simulation tools to optimize process parameters.

Prepare the testing materials and programing, optimizing functional test design.

Design and research for functional test and failure analysis, prompt response of quality issue regarding internal and external.

Analyze production data to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions for yield and quality improvement

Perform risk assessment and identify technical challenges,provide technical solution and guidance to ensure production success in daily tasks

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective or preventive actions regarding qualities issues.

Collaborate with other departments to implement process and system improvements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in mechanical or Electrical & Electronics engineering or equivalent.

At least 3 to 5 years' of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.

Candidates with experiences in cable and connector industry will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of molding process is an added advantage.

Knowledge of engineering process control and improvement activities.

Good verbal and written communication in English.

Good in the skill of data analysis and statistical aptitude.

Excellent attention to detail.
