Job summary

Hudsonmanpower is looking for a Process Control System Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize process control systems. This role supports automation systems and ensures compliance with engineering standards, vital for safe and efficient plant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Systems Engineering, and at least 8–10 years experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry. Proficiency with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Process Control Systems, preferably in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize process control systems to improve plant efficiency and reliability.
• Provide technical support for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues affecting plant operations.
• Conduct system performance analysis and optimization to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in failure analysis and root cause investigations for process control system issues.
• Ensure all systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve system reliability.
• Support implementation of automation upgrades and system improvements.

Skills

Experience with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems

Knowledge of process automation and control systems

Experience in troubleshooting and system optimization

Understanding of instrumentation and control engineering standards

Education
