Senior PMO

Job Description:

People Profilers is hiring on behalf of a global consulting firm for an experienced Senior PMO, based in KL, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the PMO Lead to guarantee that a clear framework plan (planning and scheduling) is comprehended.
• Assist in creating a thorough local project plan with a defined critical path and pertinent contingencies.
• Support the actions, completion, and status listed in the deliverables list. Moreover, identifies extra deliverables as needed (locally or regionally) and bases the project plan on the deliverables list.
• Assist the PMO Lead in working with all work streams to make sure they are included in the plan and that they comprehend and adhere to it.
• Encourage prompt application of the project management technique as this will be crucial in the latter stages when the gates and checkpoints arrive thick and fast, make sure that all acceptance criteria are understood and quantified.
• Assist with all gate actions, making sure PMO and compliance components are included.
• Support status reports for project activities on a local, regional, and worldwide level. Prepare the minutes and follow-up activities items as well.
• Assist with the management of change control (with regard to deliverables and scheduling adjustments between core and local).
• Encourage the administration of projects.

Requirements

• Possess strong communication skills.

• Capable of working in a matrix environment, managing/developing PMO deliverables and supporting other streams as needed.
• Capable of understanding risk and promoting/supporting appropriate mitigations.
