Job summary

NEXT Ventures seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to design, automate, secure, and operate cloud-native infrastructure for SaaS products on AWS and Kubernetes. You will own pipelines, harden deployments, and manage edge security via Cloudflare, while leveraging AI tooling to boost efficiency and reliability.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in DevOps, with strong IaC, scripting, and security focus, plus hands-on EKS/AWS experience. Senior role with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on DevOps or Infrastructure experience.
• Strong CI/CD, Git, automated testing/deployment.
• Cloud-native: containers, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Infrastructure-as-code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Security-aware engineering and least-privilege IAM.
• Edge/CDN/WAF experience with Cloudflare is a plus.
• AI-native workflows and agentic tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using infrastructure-as-code.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines — faster, safer, self-service.
• Run and harden Kubernetes (EKS) workloads: scaling and observability.
• Manage edge, CDN, and security through Cloudflare.
• Embed security into the platform — secrets management and IAM.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate delivery and quality.
• Participate in on-call rotation with runbooks and post-incident reviews.
• Reduce manual toil through automation and better tooling.
