Job summary

A healthcare institution in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse for its Pediatrics department. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care to children and support their families. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to implement care plans. Candidates should have a nursing diploma or degree, valid nursing license, and at least 2 years of pediatric nursing experience. BLS and PALS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing.
Strong knowledge of child development, pediatric illnesses, and treatment procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients.
Ensure the emotional and psychological well-being of children and their families.
Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
Communicate effectively with families about the child’s condition and treatment.
Observe and assess changes in patients’ conditions.
