Job summary

Tiger Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an electronics technician to diagnose and troubleshoot electronic devices, identifying hardware and software issues, and performing repairs.

You will follow tests to verify functionality, keep detailed repair records, and communicate options and timelines to customers while collaborating with the team to improve repair processes and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in EE/ME or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience in electronics manufacturing (SMT designation).
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in electronic repair.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience preferably in Electronic Manufacturing Services environment.
• Firm understanding of SMT components.
• Willing to work in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan.

Responsibilities

• To diagnose and troubleshoot electronic devices to identify hardware and software issues.
• Conduct tests and inspections to verify proper functionality after repairs
• Keep accurate records of repairs, including details of the issues identified, parts used, and time spent on each repair.
• Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating the diagnosis, repair options, and estimated completion times to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices for efficient repair processes
• Communicate with supervisors and peers to resolve issues
• Participate in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvement
• Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards
• Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
• Perform other duties assigned as and when required.
