Job description

This is a full-time, office-based Senior Operations & Vendor Management role within the Administration & Office Support team at Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad, located in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in overseeing the bank's operations and managing key vendor relationships to support the overall business objectives.

This vacancy is within Kenanga Digital Sdn Bhd, a fully owned subsidiary of Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad.

What you'll be doing
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Manage and oversee the performance of key vendors and service providers to ensure service level agreements are met
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
  • Analyse operational data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational policies, procedures and controls
  • Provide training and support to team members to build capabilities and drive continuous improvement
  • Represent the operations function in cross-functional projects and initiatives
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar operations management or vendor management role, preferably in the financial services industry or fintech start-up business
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and workflows, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements & knowledgeable in vendor management activity
  • Demonstrated experience in specialized project and operation management or in analyse operational activity improvement process and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to create and present reports
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Proactive, adaptable and results-oriented approach to problem-solving
