🌟 We're Hiring: Senior Operations Manager! 🌟

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Operations Manager to lead our operations team in ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

📍 Location: Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia

💼 Role: Senior Operations Manager

What You'll Do:
1. Operations Management
  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently met.
  • Drive productivity improvements through lean manufacturing, automation and performance management.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards and compliance with corporate and legal requirements.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Establish KPIs and regularly review performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
2. Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Ensure optimal material availability, production scheduling, and customer delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and global SCM teams to improve supply reliability, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Drive digitalization and transparency across the supply chain through data-driven decision-making.
3. Engineering & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead engineering teams in process optimization, equipment maintenance, and technical innovation.
  • Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective implementation.
  • Promote continuous improvement (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean) and foster a culture of operational excellence.
  • Implement best-in-class manufacturing technologies and ensure readiness for future growth and automation.
4. Leadership & People Development
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across operations, SCM, and engineering functions.
  • Build a strong performance culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement.
  • Identify and develop high-potential employees and successors within the organization.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Finance, People & Culture and Project Management teams.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in an international environment.
  • Proven track record in operations, supply chain and engineering management.
  • Strong background in lean manufacturing (esp. assembly and electronics), process improvement, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems and digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • Chinese Speaking
