Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in high volume high mix production environment.

Job description

To lead the Engineering & Production team for overall production delivery of Roadm products.

To supervise and maintain production line in proper order, following procedures and control plan all the time.

To execute production build plans & activities according to timeline. To participate to continuously monitor and improve the product line processes & quality.

To provide the necessary support and coordination to pilot build of new products for timely completion.

Identify, quantify and report any quality problem with materials and / or processes for seeking solution from the team.

To drive relevant counterparts (e.g. Main Store, Finished Good & etc) for timely kitting and completion of jobs against customer delivery schedule.

Education & Experience

A Degree in Business Admin / Economics / IE / ProductionManagement or its equivalents with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in high volume high mix production environment managing production.

Skills

Leadership capabilities to manage an engineering & production team of supervisor, line leaders & operators.

Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving

Work effectively with other members of Coherent Ipoh.

Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools is a bonus.

Experience working on lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects is a bonus.
