Job description

Coinut is seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Executive with a strong background in finance or banking operations and a solid understanding of compliance and financial processes. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience in FinTech or banking, is fluent in English and Mandarin, and is capable of handling both operational and financial aspects of the business, including client trade settlements and FinOps activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in maintaining effective and positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Mandarin-speaking vendors to ensure seamless daily operations and timely issue resolution.
• Manage and respond to emails and documentation in both languages with accuracy and professionalism.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating operational policies and procedures.
• Oversee and process client trade settlements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Coordinate with Finance team to ensure proper funds flow, reconciliation, and settlement reporting.
• Support financial operations (FinOps) activities such as payment processing, transaction monitoring, and reconciliation.
• Ensure all settlement and FinOps activities adhere to banking and payment compliance standards.
• Ensure operational activities comply with industry regulations, internal controls, and company standards.
• Collaborate with the Compliance team on KYC/KYB reviews and other payment/banking compliance matters.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain client transaction documentation, agreements, and operational records.
• Monitor and assess operational risks, supporting the implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with Finance, Compliance, and Customer Support teams to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and assist in implementing improvements to operational systems and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or a related role, preferably within banking or FinTech companies.
• Good understanding of compliance, particularly in payment or banking operations.
• Hands‑on experience with KYC/KYB processes or similar compliance frameworks.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative team environment.
• A basic understanding of cryptocurrency markets and trading is a plus.
