Job summary

A leading automotive company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Operations Executive to oversee end-to-end operational processes. You will manage operational workflows, support process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of experience in automotive or supply chain operations. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential. Job description
Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing the end-to-end operational processes across sales, aftersales, logistics, and vehicle delivery functions.

Ensure alignment of operations with corporate goals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and industry best practices.

Process Improvement

Identify areas for operational enhancement and propose data-driven solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction.

Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives, including digital transformation and lean management practices.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track and analyze key operational metrics and KPIs to evaluate departmental performance.

Prepare and present regular operational reports and dashboards for senior management review.

Liaise with internal stakeholders including Sales, Aftersales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service teams to facilitate smooth execution of operational activities.

Act as a key point of contact for operational issue resolution and escalation management.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure that all operational activities comply with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.

Monitor adherence to quality control procedures to maintain high service standards.

Coordinate with third-party service providers, suppliers, and logistics partners to support business operations.

Monitor asset utilization, fleet management, and vehicle lifecycle processes as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in automotive operations, dealership management, or supply chain/logistics.

Strong understanding of operational workflows within the automotive industry.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using ERP or DMS systems (e.g., SAP, Dealer Management Systems).

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an advantage.

Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
