Senior Officer, Repair Management
Reports to: Executive, Repair Management
Role Purpose
Manage out-of-house and in-house components repair and overhaul activities to meet spares support requirement efficiently and effectively, ensuring all unserviceable components are turned around per agreed shop processing time and made available in inventory to support scheduled and unscheduled demand.
Key Accountability
- Monitor all unserviceable components returned from base maintenance, line maintenance, workshop and line stations.
 
- Coordinate with CPC and ensure unserviceable components are sent out-of-house or in-house within agreed SLA time frame.
 
- Follow-up with repairer and ensure repair quote is provided within acceptable time frame for approval to proceed with repair.
 
- Evaluate and analyse component repair quotations for approval or contest repair cost if necessary.
 
- Expedite component repair orders and ensure components are returned to stock within stipulated TAT.
 
- Ensure sufficient stock is maintained to support operational requirements.
 
- Explore repair capabilities in MRO market and source new repairers to optimize repair expenses.
 
- Coordinate with Finance and ensure pre-payment is processed timely to avoid shipment on hold by repairer.
 
- Process and notify Asset Management for replacement of components against scrapped components due to Beyond Economical Repair (BER).
 
Qualifications & Working Experience
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent training conducted by world‑known aviation training academy.
 
- 2+ years of working experience in Airline/MRO/Aerospace industry with exposure in repair management, inventory planning & provisioning, and materials technical knowledge.
 
Skill & Knowledge
- Able to communicate with repairer to ensure timely repair and appropriate charges.
 
- Good analytical skills and materials technical knowledge.
 
- Competent knowledge in repair management and inventory planning.
