A leading healthcare organization in Selangor is seeking a dedicated professional to lead nursing talent acquisition efforts. This role entails collaborating with various departments to enhance workforce productivity and ensure a consistent recruitment process across multiple healthcare businesses. The ideal candidate should possess a nursing qualification, along with relevant experience in recruitment within a clinical setting. Strong stakeholder management skills and a commitment to improving the recruitment process are essential. This position offers a dynamic environment within a competitive healthcare landscape.
Support the Manager/Head in collaborating with Nursing Heads of Department across SHG BUs to align the 1–3-year nursing manpower plan with Group expansion strategy and business forecasts.
Track and verify vacancies across all BUs to ensure headcount requests are fully approved and justified prior to recruitment activation.
Work with BU Nursing Leaders to develop and refine workforce productivity indicators to ensure optimal utilization of nursing manpower.
Provide insights and data that support strategic workforce planning at Group level.
Maintain updated knowledge of nursing job descriptions, licensing requirements, and competency expectations for all nursing positions across the Group (General Ward, Critical Care, Emergency, OR, Oncology, Renal, etc.).
Lead sourcing efforts through digital platforms, job portals, social media, nursing boards, walk-ins and referrals to build a strong pipeline of local and foreign nurses.
Conduct screening and behavioral-based preliminary interviews to identify right job-person fit.
Shortlist qualified candidates and coordinate review sessions with respective BU Hiring Managers.
Lead and coordinate all interview arrangements across BUs, ensuring consistent recruitment standards.
Sit in interview sessions as part of the assessment panel for Executive and Non-Executive nursing positions; provide evaluation, competency insights, and highlight concerns.

Build strong, long-term partnerships with local and international nursing institutions to support SHG expansion.
Conduct reference checks and extend verbal offers to the selected candidates approved by Group Nursing Services and Human Capital.
Submit candidate documentation to Compensation & Benefits for salary proposals aligned with Group standards.
Arrange pre-employment medical screenings, monitor results, and keep relevant BU stakeholders updated.
Ensure smooth and timely onboarding coordination with BU Nursing Leaders and HR teams.
Prepare salary proposals for selected candidates by reviewing qualification, experience, internal parity and approved budget, and submit the recommendation to Compensation & Benefits and Hiring Managers for final approval.
Ensure smooth daily recruitment operations for all SHG BUs, aligned with Group Nursing Services objectives.
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955, Nursing Board requirements, and all SHG recruitment policies.
Maintain and update a centralized Nursing Talent Pool Database to support future hiring needs for expansions.
Prepare required documentation, reports, and evidence related to CKAP, audits, and accreditation.
Support Group Nursing Services on any additional duties, manpower projects, or recruitment initiatives as assigned.
Recruiting for an acute tertiary and quaternary healthcare environment with limited local nursing supply.
High competition from private hospitals, government sectors, and overseas opportunities draw from the same limited talent pool.
Need for strong stakeholder management skills to balance differing needs of each BU.
Maintaining high recruitment quality while handling large hiring volumes for both replacement and expansion needs.
Ensuring continuous process improvement in recruitment efficiency, pipeline development and candidate experience.
Preferred Diploma or Degree in Nursing, or relevant healthcare science studies from Recognized institutions.
Has valid Annual Practicing Certificate and registered with Malaysian Nursing Board.
2-3 years working experience in clinical area.
1-2 years of related working experience in recruitment and selection is added advantage.
Working experience in Hospital setting is advantageous.
