Job Description

Stay on Top of Technological Trends and Development.

Serve as the team’s technical subject matter expert and technical escalation resource.

Responsible for overseeing regional operations and managing day‑to‑day support activities.

Perform Software / Firmware Installation of Upgrades and Patches if situation demands.

Attends to high severity incidents on and off‑site.

Provides scope of work and man‑days to pre‑sales & sales teams (if required).

Reviews and highlights project deployment risks.

Define and manage resource plan together with the Project Manager aligning to the project schedule.

Plan and drive the project’s technical execution to achieve the committed scope and timeline.

Write, compile, and maintain project documentation.

Cooperating and communicating with Project Manager & Solution Specialist.

Act as Project Lead, and with ability to delegate lower complexity tasks to L2 engineers.

Train and mentor junior team members in serving customers across the region.

Follows documented processes, procedures, and policies.

Updates incident tickets in a timely manner in Service Desk MSP Ticketing System to meet contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Next day standby (onsite / remote) after implementation activity.

To provide knowledge transfer session / administrator training for projects.

Perform any other job‑related duties incidental to the work.

Job Requirement

Preferably someone with at least 3‑5 years of operational & project deployment experience.

Proven project implementation experience and strong hands‑on expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing network and security solutions.

Preferably someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, yet collaborate well with cross‑functional teams.

Ability to work on complex issues in a fast and dynamic environment.

Proven experience and good understanding according to the domain or specialization.

Technologies (any of the following)

Preferably someone with knowledge in using any of the F5 network products such as LTM, GTM, ASM, AFM, LC, APM or VCMP etc.

Well verse knowledge in IP protocol (TCP/IP) networking routing and switching protocols, VPN, Firewall, IPS, Load Balancer, WAF.

Experienced in working with Huawei network devices, having certifications such as HCIA and HCIP would be an advantage.

Knowledge or experienced in Firewall solutions such as Fortinet, CheckPoint, PaloAlto, or Cisco (ASA).

Experienced in IPS solutions such as TippingPoint, TrendMicro, or Cisco (FirePower).

Experienced in Email & Web (Proxy) solutions such as Fortinet, Symantec, Bluecoat, or Cisco (IronPort).
