The Senior Network Security Engineer is responsible for working on network security projects, including the design, implementation, and operations of network security infrastructure. This role involves working on technologies such as Firewalls (Palo Alto/Checkpoint/Fortinet), VPN, IPS/IDS, NAC (Forescout/ISE), F5 Load Balancer, Routing and Switching and Symantec MFA.

- Producing an integrated solution covering all areas and in line with IT strategy.
Gathering the infrastructure requirements for all projects with infrastructure deliverables.
Prepare HLD and LLD diagrams that identify all infrastructure components, including network infrastructure, security requirements, and compute/storage requirements for the solution.
- Operations and management of network security solutions.
- Support network projects such as deployment & migration of new firewalls, VPN, IPS, and NAC, including implementation of routing & layer 2 switching.
- Ensure solutions comply with and integrate into enterprise architecture & InfoSec policy for infrastructure and security systems by reviewing and advising on new and existing IT projects.
- Ensure deliverables meet all related engineering, planning, and operational standards.
- Identify potential network issues and risks, and provide workable technical solutions for mitigation.
- Document network performance to take proactive and corrective action as needed.
- Play a major role in the selection of any new IT, infrastructure, or technology solution.
Skills for Success:
- Degree in computer science or information technology. Candidates with network industry certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or professional network security certification are preferred.
- At least 7-8 years of experience in corporate network security is essential.
- Hands‑on experience in firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet), IPS/IDS (Palo Alto), and VPNs is required.
- Experience in network (Cisco), security orchestration (Algosec), load balancers (F5), and authentication systems.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and data‑center network & security industry standards relevant to data communications and computing.
- Experience in software‑defined networking (SDN) on Cisco ACI is advantageous.
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience in network solutioning, operations, and project management.
- Willing to work on a 12‑hour rotational shift and be on standby 24×7 whenever required.
