Who you'll be working for

Australian-headquartered provider specializing in cybersecurity solutions and managed services (SOC, network security, cloud security, consulting).

What requirements you'll need to be eligible
  • 5+ years in a hands-on Level 2/3 engineering role (network, security, or infrastructure)
  • Strong experience with networking technologies (routing, switching, firewalls)
  • Fortinet experience highly regarded (e.g., FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
  • Experience with managed services, MSPs, or client-facing support roles
  • Comfortable working with ITIL-based processes (incident, change, problem management)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills (both spoken and written English)
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead in a remote setting
Nice to have
  • Certifications: NSE4+, CCNP, or equivalent
  • Exposure to SIEM, EDR, or SOC environments
  • Experience with shift-based support or 24x7 environments
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools (ConnectWise, ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.)
What you'll be doing on the job
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support across a range of networking and security technologies
  • Act as the regional technical lead and initial point of escalation for offshore operations
  • Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and training of new Malaysia-based engineers
  • Manage and respond to after-hours incidents and support tickets, including maintenance windows and change implementations
  • Monitor SLAs, escalated issues as needed, and ensure quality and consistency across offshore deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with the Australian-based team and contribute to continuous service improvement
  • Document processes, maintain runbooks, and improve knowledge management for the team
