Job description

Overview

In your new role you will:

• Proactively checking network performance and ensuring system availability and reliability.
• Provide technical support as needed to maintain the network operation objective.
• Assist departments across the organization in understanding and implementing network solutions in a cost-effective manner that aligns with business objectives.
• Work closely with other network engineers and cross-functional teams, review, execute technical designs, and provide technical direction.
• Evaluate, define, and develop new and existing reference standards and their adoption to successfully onboard services with speed, quality, and efficiency.
• Participate in an on-call (24x7) support rotation with other members of the NOC.
• Develop written procedures, engineering drawings, and other technical documentation.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or any equivalent course.
• Hands-on experience and supporting enterprise-level networks.
• Hands-on experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
• Hands-on experience in EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS, and other routing protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills - Experience working with Wireshark.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Note: 1-year renewable contract under 3rd party payroll partner and entitled to benefits according to the partner company.
