Job summary

Körber is hiring a backend developer to design and implement scalable APIs and microservices using .NET Core and C#. The role requires 4+ years in back‑end development, strong REST API experience, and a solid foundation in database and architecture practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of backend development with .NET technologies.
• Strong experience with .NET, .NET Core, C# and object‑oriented design.
• Experience with EF Core, LINQ, Code First approaches.
• RESTful APIs, backend design patterns, and asynchronous programming.
• Proficient in MS SQL/Oracle and SQL indexing.
• Docker, Git and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps).
• Security best practices and data protection awareness.
• Strong English communication; team‑oriented and mentoring mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build clean, reusable, and scalable APIs and microservices using .NET Core and C#.
• Develop services for front‑end, third‑party APIs, and internal components.
• Ensure backend performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate in Scrum teams and with full‑stack colleagues.
• Contribute to system design, architecture, and modular solutions.
• Design and manage relational databases and efficient data access layers.
• Containerize services with Docker and participate in CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshoot distributed systems.
