Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions using .NET Framework/Core and C#. You will work in a cross-functional team delivering technology solutions for diverse clients across industries.

You will translate business requirements into robust backend services, participate in unit and integration testing, manage deployment pipelines, and contribute to code quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years of backend development using .NET technologies.
• Proficient in C# and .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
• Strong understanding of OOP and software design patterns.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
• Knowledge of web app architecture, networking, and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into robust, scalable backend applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions and APIs in .NET.
• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend, architects, and stakeholders.
• Conduct unit and integration testing; participate in deployments.
• Manage deployment pipelines and perform rollbacks when needed.
• Maintain code quality via peer reviews and refactoring.
• Document technical specs and maintain system docs.
