Job summary

Snappymob Malaysia is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, build and deploy scalable ML solutions. You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers and data teams to develop production-ready AI applications.

We value hands-on technologists who solve real-world problems using modern AI, with strong Python and ML frameworks experience, plus cloud and MLOps know-how. Hybrid work and mentorship are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Data Science/AI or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in Machine Learning Engineering or related roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience building and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Good understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Experience with data handling, preprocessing, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend development.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps practices is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and deploy ML models for production environments.
• Build scalable ML pipelines and data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate ML solutions into applications.
• Optimize model performance, accuracy, and scalability.
• Work on data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Develop APIs and backend services for ML-powered applications.
• Monitor, maintain, and improve deployed ML models.
• Conduct experimentation and research on new ML/AI approaches.
• Document technical solutions and best practices.
