Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Mill Manager in the overall planning, coordination, and supervision of mill operations to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
• Monitor and control processing efficiency to minimize oil and kernel losses within acceptable limits.
• Ensure that the production of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and palm kernel consistently meets the established quality specifications and customer requirements.
• Implement and monitor a preventive maintenance system to ensure plant reliability and minimize downtime to below 2.5% of total processing hours.
• Ensure strict adherence all relevant management systems, including ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (EMS), OHSAS 18001, and MSPO standards.
• Supervise, train, and motivate operational staff to achieve high performance and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in the preparation of operational reports, performance analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the Mill Manager in ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Possess 1st Grade Steam Engineer Certificate (mandatory).
• Strong leadership and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and disciplined work attitude.
