We are seeking a Senior MEP Engineer (HVAC & Cooling) to lead and manage all mechanical, electrical, and plumbingMEP) activities for our data centre. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HVAC systems and data centre infrastructure, with hands‑on experience managing design, construction, and commissioning phases.

Lead and manage all MEP activities for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with local codes, client requirements, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all MEP‑related works for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with local codes, client requirements, and international standards.
- Lead commissioning activities across Uptime Institute Cx2 to Cx4 levels, including FAT, SAT, integrated system testing, and full load testing.
- Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and to ensure seamless execution and timely project delivery.
- Review and approve MEP designs, technical submissions, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during installation and commissioning.
- Monitor project progress, prepare detailed reports, and ensure key milestones are met within schedule and budget.
- Uphold safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all project activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline (Malaysian‑accredited institutions preferred).
- 5–7 years of experience in MEP works, preferably within data centre construction or mission‑critical environments.
- Strong understanding of Uptime Institute commissioning levels (Cx2–Cx4).
- Ability to work across Cyberjaya and Johor Bahru (Sedenak) sites.
- Willingness to travel, accept project transfers (including overseas assignments), and work extended hours when required.
