About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join GAT SERVICES SDN. BHD. as a Senior Diesel Mechanic. In this full‑time role based in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of diesel‑powered vehicles and machinery.

What you’ll be doing

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, heavy trucks, machinery, and related components.
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting on diesel‑powered equipment.
• Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee workshop operations and guide junior mechanics/technicians when needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Handle emergency breakdowns and on‑site repair tasks when required.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3–5 years of working experience as a diesel mechanic (senior‑level preferred).
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, braking systems, and electrical components.
• Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and technical issues.
• Possession of relevant certifications in automotive/mechanical fields (added advantage).
• Physically fit and able to perform hands‑on repair work.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
