Key Responsibilities
Material Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead monthly S&OP meetings to consolidate demand forecasts and align material requirements.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts in SAP and ensure supplier and stakeholder alignment.
  • Drive corrective actions for planning discrepancies and system mismatches.
Customer Order Slot Allocation
  • Review technical specifications and customer order requests to determine feasible production slots.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Order Management to confirm delivery timelines.
  • Ensure timely updates in SFDC and SAP for all customer orders.
Clear-to-Build Validation
  • Conduct readiness checks for upcoming production batches using SFDC and SAP.
  • Validate material availability and technical documentation for execution release.
  • Communicate production readiness and elevate issues proactively.
Product Lifecycle (PLC) Integration
  • Participate in ECN meetings and integrate engineering changes into planning workflows.
  • Ensure timely ECI closures and clean execution readiness across warehouse and work orders.
  • Analyze missed On-Time Delivery (OTD) cases and classify root causes.
  • Update SFDC reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and correct backdated demand in SAP to maintain data integrity.
  • Ensure planning data is reliable for downstream purchasing and production processes.

Work closely with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Order Management. Act as a planning subject‑matter expert.

Qualifications

Must be familiar with an ERP system, specifically SAP (in PP and MM module); advantage for those experienced with S4 HANA.

Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and advanced level with Microsoft Excel.

Working knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing in a high‑tech environment is a plus.

Familiarity with shipping, receiving and logistics is a strong plus.

Must be a self‑starter and have the ability/desire to work in a fast‑paced and progressive environment.

Must have good judgment along with good decision‑making, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply chain, business or Engineering discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of planning, or equivalent, experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience and working understanding of Engineering Change Orders, BOMs, and work order management.
