RGE in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks a quantitative analyst to perform macro trading analyses across equities, fixed income, currencies, futures and options. The role involves developing data-driven investment ideas and supporting hedge fund activities.

The candidate will assist the CIO with risk-management materials and investment committee presentations, and will execute trades while monitoring strategies in live markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantitative analysis or trading is advantageous.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Involved in quantitative analysis and macro trading for a portfolio of equities, fixed income, currency, futures and options.
• Perform quantitative/statistical analysis of trading/investment strategies using macroeconomic and market data to support hedge fund activities.
• Calculate hedge ratios and analyze portfolios under different stress conditions and historical scenarios.
• Generate investment strategies/ideas and investment recommendations.
• Assist CIO in preparing risk management reports/materials/presentations for Investment Committee meetings and internal discussions.
• Execute trades in interest rates (futures, swaps, option), global equity indices, and currencies (spot, forward, option) and regularly monitor and review trades/strategies.
