This role offers a hands‑on opportunity to lead testing strategies for next‑generation hardware products in a fast‑growing, innovative environment. You will be instrumental in defining test methods, influencing product design for manufacturability, and ensuring quality across prototypes and production. The position involves collaborating with engineering, product development, and global manufacturing teams to implement robust, efficient, and scalable test processes. You will leverage your expertise in electronics, testing methodologies, and data analysis to improve product performance and reliability. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges while having a direct impact on manufacturing outcomes. Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement testing strategies, including capital cost estimates and specifications, for prototypes and final production
  • Collaborate with New Product Development teams to optimize designs for testability and high‑volume manufacturing
  • Conduct Design for Test (DFT) analyses and report on test coverage and effectiveness
  • Design and maintain flexible test systems, fixtures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Support production and refurbishment testing processes, including outsourced test development projects
  • Work with global manufacturing partners to implement test processes and equipment during New Product Introduction
  • Continuously improve testing methods to align with technological advancements and company standards
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis and measurement
  • Proficiency with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS‑232) and audio protocols (I2S, TDM, PCM, PDM)
  • Experience with lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, and audio analyzers
  • Programming experience in one or more high‑level languages (LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, Java, VB.net)
  • Experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, memory ICs, and PCB assembly‑level testing methodologies (ICT, Flying Probe, Boundary Scan)
  • Knowledge of RF testing, acoustic testing, and optical testing is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and technical communication skills
  • Ability to travel globally to support manufacturing sites if needed
