Job summary

Pristine Glory in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily manufacturing facility for poultry equipment. You will lead production, ensure quality, and drive efficiency across procurement, inventory, and logistics.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing or operations, a solid lean mindset, strong leadership, and the ability to analyse data to cut costs while maintaining standards. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business Admin, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing or operations management.
• Experience in lean manufacturing to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Quality control methodologies and ISO quality systems experience.
• Supply chain management including procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor relations.
• Strong project management to deliver multiple initiatives on time and budget.
• Proven leadership to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Experience with SQL systems and relevant manufacturing software.
• Ability to analyze data to identify trends and improve performance.
• Familiarity with poultry equipment manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Implement strategic operational plans focusing on process improvement and cost reduction.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain including procurement, inventory, and logistics.
• Lead and mentor production staff to foster continuous improvement and safety.
• Maintain rigorous quality control from materials to finished goods.
• Manage projects related to new product development or process upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and R&D to align production with market needs.
