As we continue to push the capabilities of robotics inside semiconductor fabs, we are looking for someone who is excited by both technology and manufacturing automation.
As the Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager at our Greenfield site in JB, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, tooling, and operations for new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations: Developing and implementing manufacturing methods, processes, tooling and operations to ensure production lines operate smoothly with minimum disruptions, robust product built with good quality and effective non-conforming material processing.
Process Optimization: Analyze and improve effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.
System Management: Develop and ensure systems implementation to maintain reports and record keeping of company products and liaise with engineering in releasing new products and engineering changes.
People Management: Recruiting, developing, evaluating, motivating and retaining team to optimize their talent and maximize the efficient operation of the function.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analysis to identify, prioritize and drive root cause corrective action and make informed decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Apply improvement methods and tools defined to reduce waste, improve efficiency and increase overall productivity.
Strategy and Leadership: Develop and implement both short term (1 year) and long term (3 – 5 year) manufacturing engineering roadmap for Brook’s global manufacturing.
Key Performance Indicator (KPI): Own and drive department metric set including safety, quality, cost and productivity.
Customer liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact supporting technical discussions including manage good communication, manage relationships, and resolve issues.
Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree with at least 10+ years of technical, manufacturing engineering experience
In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and associated tools with experience implementing Statistical Process Controls (SPC).
Technical proficiency and engineering fundamentals with Project Management and organizational skills
Ability to understand and use manufacturing processes and to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong people management skills to lead a team of highly skilled engineers across all disciplines (mechanical, electrical, test, etc.)
Semiconductor Capital Equipment experience (highly advantageous) & Cleanroom experience (preferred)
Ability to communicate effectively in both shop floor settings and at executive reviews.
High energy with the desire to drive change and create a world class manufacturing operation.
Knowledge of Safety Protocols (people and product) regarding automation and robotics.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
