Summary: The Senior Manager, Test Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for effectively managing the resources who accept, transfer, install, improve and maintain automatic test equipment and test programs that are used for product testing and design verification. They also may support the test development of the test equipment and processes to ensure robust and high quality test solutions and final products are realized.

Responsibilities
  • Lead development of comprehensive production test strategies for a factory
  • Be accountable for the test process optimization with a focus on productivity improvements to cycle time and yield across a factory serving multiple customers.
  • Provide project leadership, including management of (and communication with) team members, suppliers for comprehensive test deployments including structural, functional, system, stress and final test applications at the factory level
  • Support sales process by providing support to the quoting process.
  • Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations.
  • Drive company-wide best practices for Operations test equipment and processes.
  • Lead and drive complex problems related to product failures in the end customer environment,
  • Industry recognized expert in a specific test domain
  • Lead company-wide test strategy including training, capital investment, aged equipment rotation, supplier relationship management and industry equipment evaluation for the purpose of capital planning.
  • Lead skills roadmap and skills matrix for the company.
  • Drive engagement form test leaders from multiple sites to develop and deploy test standards across the company.
  • Owns the test equipment roadmap for the company.
  • Set yearly plans and goals for a department or multiple departments, give direction on expected performance, provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback. Accountable for all department objectives and achieving agreed targets for key performance indicators.
