A leading property developer is seeking a Senior Manager to oversee complex property development projects crucial for growth. The successful candidate will ensure timely project completion within budget and manage contractors' performance. A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering, alongside 15+ years of relevant experience, is required. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. The role also demands proficiency in project management software like MS Project and AutoCAD, along with proficiency in English.
The Senior Manager, Project you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex property development projects that are crucial to the company's growth and expansion plans.
To develop an effective plan of action and controlling measures on construction works and schedule to ensure completion of project within the prescribed schedule and budget.
To manage the performance and deliverables of project contractors to ensure project milestones and budget are met.
To report to management on the construction management progress and recommend necessary modifications and recommendations as and when necessary.
Ensure the construction is done in accordance to the construction contracts.
Responsible for obtaining the necessary relevant approvals, permits, licenses and clearances from the relevant authorities.
To implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System.
To comply with all legal and other requirements applicable to the organization and projects.
Shall undertake other duties assigned or directed by the superior from time to time.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Architecture / Engineering / Planning & Design or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction and/or property development.
Must have experience and/or knowledge in reviewing technical drawings.
Ability to prepare all relevant project documents to comply with company policies and guidelines that include letters, management papers, Board papers and presentation materials.
Proficient in computer skills particularly in application of project planning/management software e.g. MS Project, PowerPoint, Autocad, Excel and Words.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Self-motivated, independent and determined to succeed.
Must possess good leadership, good interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with all departments, consultants and Contractors.
