The Role

We are the high‑end test engineering team providing test solutions for Data Center Graphics (DCG) New Product Introduction (NPI) under the Product Engineering Organization. We do exciting product development for leading‑edge technology that will power the next generation processors used for high performance computing, data centers, enterprise servers, and Artificial Intelligence clusters. As a Senior Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing a high performance team and driving ATE test solutions to meet NPI business milestones and KPI (test time, yield, cost, quality). The expectation is to perform leadership through interaction with design teams, Product & Test Engineering teams, Quality & Reliability teams, software & platform teams to come up with the best solution that balances quality and cost.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to drive test solution/coverage development, optimization to meet business milestone, cost and quality.
• Develop ATE Test patterns & test flows/methods, debug, test and characterization.
• Engage with Design in pre‑silicon planning, scoping, validation.
• Lead post‑silicon bring‑up of test patterns for mass production enablement.
• Execute characterization, analysis and debug of new silicon designs and process technologies.
• Optimize test coverage and flows for increased quality, yield, cost improvement, and test time reduction.
• Conduct engineering evaluations and analysis to drive closure of production issues.
• Solve complex, novel, and non‑recurring problems; initiate significant changes to existing processes and lead development and implementation.
• Influence technical decisions that have a significant impact on final product.
• Collaborate on or assume consultative or leadership responsibilities for specific projects or product development initiatives.
• Provide technical supervision or mentoring to junior engineers.

The Person

We are looking for someone with strong technical, analytical, leadership and problem‑solving skills, as well as demonstrating the characteristics of an independent and resourceful individual.

Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of DFT architecture for SOC (System‑On‑Chip) products.
• Strong test development, silicon characterization/debug experience on various industry standard ATE test platforms, and data analysis.
• 12 years or more of industry experience.
• Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, or comparable discipline background.

Preferred Experience

• Good understanding of power and performance characterization on ATE.
• Experience with ATE Test handling/execution and development.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) is a strong plus.
• Software programming and scripting proficiency (C++, Java, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Python).
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work with geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.

Academic Credentials

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines.
