Overview

Role focuses on planning, monitoring and implementing IT infrastructure and hardware elements, with emphasis on preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and alignment with technology trends.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, monitor and implement all IT related infrastructure and hardware elements.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance.
  • Review proposed technical solutions and technology trends; introduce continuous improvement for infrastructure and hardware.
  • Assess process effectiveness and efficiency (Role Impact).
  • Plan, monitor and implement preventive and change management to meet MTTR targets.
  • Provide technical advice and validation on related solutions for new or existing infrastructure setups, including technology trending analysis and evaluation.
  • Champion new requests or enhancements; provide project management and technology assistance; ensure configuration aligns with requirement specifications; ensure security is not compromised.
  • Ensure all technical documents are updated in accordance with ISO standards and that SOPs are followed per ISO, COBIT and ITIL best practices; provide audit assistance as needed.
  • Maintain effective asset management and inventory control; plan asset and spare stock availability; ensure timely asset replacement and disposal.
  • Manage infrastructure and hardware budgets, including CAPEX/OPEX reporting, cost-saving measures, and budget monitoring within planned limits.
  • Vendor and contract management: maintain vendor relationships, perform annual vendor reviews, and monitor SLAs with corrective actions as needed.
  • Policies and Information Security: develop, implement, and review IS/IT policies to protect information and assets and ensure appropriate use of systems.
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Graduate Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Experience
  • At least 7 years of relevant technical experience, with 3 years in a management capacity.
Skills
  • Able to install, maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory 2012/2016/2019 with DNS and DHCP setup.
  • Able to install, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Clustering.
  • Able to install, maintain and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, software applications and patches.
